Attack on Titan Creator Urges Fans to Wash Hands With New Art

Hajime Isayama, creator of the popular Attack on Titan, used characters from the manga for an ad prompting people to wash their hands.

With coronavirus (COVID-19) still plaguing many countries across the world, Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama has issued a precaution using characters from his popular series.

Shared by the Attack on Titan Wiki Twitter account, a drawing by Isayama shows several Attack on Titan characters as they wash their hands. Additionally, the image appeared to have been initially released in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.

One of the best-selling manga series of all time, Attack on Titan imagines a world plagued by gigantic humanoid beasts called Titans. Written and drawn by Isayama, the series had its Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine premiere in 2009 and is still currently running. However, Isayama recently hinted that he may be done with the series soon, claiming that he only had "about 5%" left to write.
